Terms of Service
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and +251.radio (“we”, “us”), which runs the website at 251.gugut.studio and its apps (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms for you. You can’t use the service if the law where you live forbids it, or if we’ve closed your account before.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password (or the Google account you sign in with) secure.
- You’re responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at once if someone else gets into it.
- One person, one account. Don’t pretend to be someone else, or take a name that misleads people.
3. Your mixes and what you upload
You keep ownership of what you upload: mixes, recordings, cover images, voice-overs, titles, descriptions and tracklists (“your content”).
So we can run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, convert (for example into different qualities and streaming formats), stream, display and share your content on the service, including in previews and share cards for links to it. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for a short time in backups, or by law.
4. Music and other people’s rights
Only upload what you have the right to share. A mix usually contains other people’s work: the recordings, and the songs themselves. By uploading, you confirm that you own, or have permission from the owners for, everything in your content, and that sharing it here doesn’t break anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
Crediting artists in a tracklist does not give you permission to use their music. You are responsible for getting the permission you need, and for any claim that results from your content.
5. Rules
Don’t use the service to:
- upload content that infringes someone’s rights, or that’s illegal where you or we are;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful, sexually explicit or violent material;
- mislead people about who you are, or about who made a mix;
- upload malware, or try to break into, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- get around limits, blocks or the removal of content or accounts.
6. Copyright complaints
We respect copyright and remove content when rights holders tell us it infringes theirs. How to send a complaint, and how to respond to one, is set out in our Copyright Policy, which is part of these terms. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload infringing content.
7. Removing content and closing accounts
We may remove any content, or limit, suspend or close any account, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law, or puts the service, its users or us at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you why. You can delete your content, or ask us to close your account, at any time.
8. The service
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and your content safe, but we don’t promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you. We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service.
9. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, profits or opportunities, or for content that other users upload. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims by others that arise from your content or your breaking these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you on the site or by email before it applies, and may ask you to agree again. Using the service after a change applies means you accept it.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, and disputes go to its competent courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there.
