Copyright Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
Mixes on +251.radio are uploaded by its users, who promise in our Terms of Service that they have the right to share everything in them. If you own the rights to music, a recording, an image or anything else that appears here without your permission, tell us and we’ll take it down.
Reporting content
Email fremesfin1@gmail.com with:
- the work you own (for example the song title and artist, or the recording or release it’s from);
- the link to each mix or page that uses it, and if you can, the time in the mix where it plays;
- your name, the rights holder you act for if it isn’t you, and how to reach you;
- this statement: “I believe in good faith that this use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law. The information in this notice is accurate, and I am the rights holder or authorised to act for them.”;
- your full name as a signature.
This covers what notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws require, so we can act on it whichever country you’re in.
What happens next
- We remove or disable the content promptly once we have a complete notice, and let you know.
- We tell the person who uploaded it, and pass on your complaint so they can respond.
- Incomplete notices may take longer, as we’ll need to ask you for what’s missing.
If your mix was removed
If you believe a mix was removed by mistake, or that you do have permission to use the work, reply to our email with your explanation and any proof of permission. We may pass your reply to the person who complained and put the mix back if they don’t take the matter further. Repeated or knowingly false responses may lead to your account being closed.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload content that infringes others’ rights, and may stop them from opening new ones.
False complaints
Only send a complaint about work you own or are authorised to act for. Knowingly false complaints may be against the law and may be shared with the person they’re about.
